Busy, busy bee

It's been a busy few weeks!

Ian came back from Prague, having had a great weekend with the boys, Wales won! He brought me back a little puppet on a string, she is so very cute...

On the 8th, Ian and I saw Brand New in Bristol, they played an amazing set, lots from both 'Deja' & 'The Devil & God'. BUT I forgot my camera so there are no photos from that night!

Then, of course, we had our very first Valentines together! <3
I was a very happy girl, and he seemed pleased with his records and blu-ray and most of all his little red melodica.

My Gifts :)
Rob Ryan book!!! Owl phone case, little owl trinket box from Prague, wagtail wallet!
We watched TV and got ourselves a take away burger, nothing fancy, but it was lovely and I hope it was just the first of many.

On the 16th we were back in Bristol for Skrillex. He was amazing, it was like one giant party and no-one there wanted it to end, we both loved every minute!

This time, we stayed the night in Bristol, the view from the hotel at night was beautiful

The next day we had a quick look around before coming back to Cardiff, I took a couple of photos

And we took a little trip to the Hotel Chocolat shop!

Yummy!
That night we saw Brand New in Cardiff, they varied their set slightly but still played almost everything we wanted to hear.

And then there were pancakes, as usual my mother did an excellent (if not slightly messy) job of them, and they were a day late.... But no less delicious :)

Whipped cream, maple syrup & caster sugar - a winning combination!
This week has been a long one at work, cannot wait for the weekend! Wales play England in the Six Nations on Saturday, and we have a shopping trip and Harvester planned for Sunday!!

Team building, bowling, birthdays & snow

For reasons unknown, my team leader at work has decided that it's time for us to engage in a little team building, but not the normal 'falling in to each others arms backwards' fandango, oh no! We're playing darts! (and I'm better at it than anyone would've predicted!)  In terms of improving relationships, I don't think it'll have much of an effect, but heck, I'm getting paid to have fun for an hour every Friday afternoon!

After our little team building exercise, the boys & I went bowling for Dai's birthday, not quite as good as bowling as I am at darts! This time we actually did make our initials into a (naughty) word and good times were had :)

Not actually our real names, but they could've been...

This weekend moo has been to Prague for the annual 'rugby mystery tour' with the boys, it's the first time since we've been together that he's been away for a few days and I haven't been able to speak to him properly, I can't wait to see him (and my present) tomorrow!
I am quite disappointed that we didn't get to share the snow day together, but I'm sure there'll be plenty more :)

Pretty day indeed :)

Lots to look forward to as well! Wednesday we're going to Bristol to see Brand New :D we're going to the Cardiff date too.  I'm hoping they play lots from 'Deja Entendu', but Ian's hoping for lots from 'The Devil & God'

O2 Academy here we come!
